THE ESSENCE OF BEAUTY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every one of us is fearfully and wonderfully made.  This means we were created with great heart-felt interest and respect, uniquely designed by the Creator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beauty means embracing and accepting who you are.  This doesn\u2019t mean that those areas we need to work on in terms Of our character, charisma and appearance should be left out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beauty is classified as inner and outer beauty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inner beauty is the beauty that resonates with our soul and it reflects outwardly in our relationship with people and also how we treat ourselves individually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outer beauty is our physical appearance, gait and charm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outer beauty attracts but inner beauty captivates and sustains relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this write up, we will be focusing on Outer Beauty!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outer beauty is the channel through which we are in touch with our world and experience it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outer beauty can be cultivated.  It is taking care of oneself, finding your own natural beauty and nurturing it.  This has been an ancient, traditional practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is not drawing unnecessary attention to oneself rather it is being moderate in enhancing appearance and elegance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking care of our outer beauty promotes general well-being as the skin is the gate way for many life-threatening disease conditions and how our mind works also promotes excellent outward appearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our body is a temple that houses our spirit and soul hence deserves to be properly groomed and taking care of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cultivating outer beauty involves:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Love and accept yourself.  Don\u2019t allow anyone or circumstances define who you are.  You are wonderfully and uniquely made.  There is no one else like you in existence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Smile.  Beauty is power; a smile is its sword.  Smiling relaxes the facial muscles, boosts mood and makes you attractive.  It also releases endorphins and cortisol that are beneficial to one\u2019s health.  The benefits include: reduced blood pressure, reduced stress, strengthens immunity and increases endurance.  So smile!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Eat healthy: balanced diets prevent wrinkles, optimize and boost collagen production which is very important for healthy skin cells and youthful look.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Detoxification.  This involves removing free radicals and toxins from the blood, cells, tissues and organs of the body through specified diets.  It is cleansing and nourishing the body inside out.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Exercise, relax and meditate on good and lovely things.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Protect your skin from the sun by use of products with sun protection factor (SPF).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Hydrate your skin and also have a healthy glow by drinking lots of water.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Maintain a good posture.  Slouching affects the body negatively, always sit and straighten your back comfortably, rest shoulders and align your chin at a relaxed angle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Have enough sleep during the night as the skin cells regenerates and repairs the damage done to the body during the day.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
